The Dorchester BID (business improvement district) is a not for profit organisation that is funded by the businesses of Dorchester to deliver a range of projects aimed at supporting the town’s businesses and helping to make Dorchester a more vibrant, friendly and welcoming town. Examples of projects run by the DBID include:
Christmas Lights & Trees, Hanging baskets & flag projects, FREE town centre Wi-Fi, The Dorchester Ambassadors, Defibrillators, Free and subsidised training for businesses in social media, first aid and other areas, town maps, shoppers guides and most recently the amazingly useful Discover Dorchester town app.
