Borough Gardens’ yearly programme of local musicians and big bands returns for this summer. Covering a wide range of genres, from traditional folk to funk and soul, there’s something for all musical tastes.
All performances are completely free, with no booking required.

Summer Sessions: Live Music in Borough Gardens presents Elyot Warburton
With a variety of instruments including the Diatonic Button Accordion, Elyot plays music that is steeped in the Wessex Tradition and influenced primarily by the music and musicians of Dorset. Join us at the Bandstand and for unique and compelling traditional Dorset music that speaks both to its far-reaching lineage and its bright and shining future.

Ever-popular singer Tony Lowe will glide through the classics of the golden years and covers songs from Tom Jones, Michael Bublé and Neil Diamond, to name but a few. We're delighted to say that Tony will take to the Bandstand on four Sundays this summer: 12 July, 2 August, 6 September and 14 September - all from 2-4pm.
