Discover an exciting exhibition highlighting the work of Dorset’s emerging artists. Emergence showcases artwork by Kiki Birtles, Sophie Glen, Fiona Kenny, Will Monaghan, Shelley Perry, Pauline Rose, Dawn Thomson, Jasmine Wheeler, and Abigail Whelan.

All members of Dorset Visual Arts Emerging Artist Group, these artists have participated in a series of training sessions led by mentor Becca Russell, who brings her expertise in curation, producing and artist development. Through group sessions and one-to-one mentoring, they have explored their practice, developed new work, and revisited existing themes.

This exhibition celebrates artists at the beginning of their careers and shares their artwork with a wider audience. Dorset Visual Arts is proud to offer training and programmes like these that are vital to support emerging artists in the community.
