Kate Adie, the author and broadcaster, well known for her long service as the BBC’s Chief News Correspondent will be joining us at Tom Browns for the celebration of Brewing in Dorchester event.
We will be dedicating the weekend to celebrate Women in Brewing!
Kate will be telling us how the role of women changed in the wake of WW1 and how the war changed the face of the local pub. The ‘’locals’, once male strongholds, were now run by women, and women were welcome as customers.
This not to miss free event will be first come first served so please arrive early.
