Weldmar Hospicecare Summer Fete

Join Weldmar, and Martin Clunes, for a summer spectacular at the charity’s annual fete on Saturday 14th September!

Location: Weldmar Hospicecare Inpatient Unit, Herringston Road, Dorchester, DT1 2SL

The event will be held in the meadow and gardens of Weldmar’s Inpatient Unit in Dorchester from 11am-4pm, and will be full of family fun with entertainment, games, activities, stalls and more.

Both children and adults will be captivated by the bubble tricks on display from The Lovely Bubbly Show; musical entertainment will be provided by popular singers Tony Lowe and Andy Collett and Jazz band, Dr Jazz; The Ranch will be bringing along some of their wonderful animals to meet; and Weldmar will be joined once again by dancers from The Studio.

Visitors will also have the chance to visit stalls run by teams from across the charity, including Weldmar at Home, Complementary Therapy, and the raffle at the famous Nurses’ Stall. As well as raising vitals funds for the charity, the Summer Fete holds a special place in the hearts of many of our visitors, as it will often be the first time they come back and see some of the team who looked after their loved ones during such a difficult time.

The event is great value for money with the entry fee remaining at just £2 for adults, with children going free, and First Bus will be kindly running a free shuttle bus service to the event from the Dorchester South station bus stop.
