Welcome or Welcome Not
Once again Athelhampton House plays host to a seasonal celebration of words and music from and about Dorset, performed in the stunning Christmassy-lit Tudor Great Hall, in what is quickly becoming an annual tradition.
Local actor and folk singer Alastair Braidwood is joined by his mentor, esteemed and respected singer and folk musician Tim Laycock, for an evening full of festive cheer, including humorous stories read and acted, traditional songs and carols to be sung along to, poems recited, and folk tunes to get your foot tapping. Previous years’ performances by these energetic and knowledgeable entertainers were highly enjoyed by packed houses, and we look forward to it being so again this time. Book early to avoid disappointment!
Athelhampton’s Coach House will open for pre booked supper at 6pm.
