Visible Women: Lucy Sewill in conversation with Juliet Stevenson
To mark International Women’s Day (8th March), photographer Lucy Sewill will be joined by the acclaimed actor Juliet Stevenson for a special in-conversation event celebrating women’s voices in the arts.
Drawing on their own creative journeys, they will explore how stories are shaped, who gets seen and heard, and why representation continues to matter so deeply across cultural spaces. Together, they will reflect on creativity, visibility, and the lived experiences of women working in the arts, considering both the challenges and the possibilities of making work today.
The conversation will be rooted in the ideas at the heart of the Visible Women project – a powerful body of photographic work by Lucy Sewill on view in the Alice Ellen Cooper Dean Community Space at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery 7 March – 28 April 2026.
