United Artisans Charity Raffle to help raise money for Dorchester Family Support

Have you heard of Holiday Hunger? No, neither had we until we wanted to do something to help raise money for a local charity. Here in Dorchester, maybe even in your road, there could be a family who desperately relies on Free School Meals, but what happens when its half term? For many, the parents will give up their meal so their children can eat, or a sparce meal is spread between 4 or 5 family members, meaning by the time term starts, either the parents or the children, or even all of them are suffering from lack of food related illnesses, from fatigue, sleeping issues, sickness, low immune systems etc, but this is where we are extremely lucky here in Dorchester to have Dorchester Family Support who is 100% reliant on donations to help families in need in these times of need.

With the October half term looming, we wanted to do something to help raise some funds for Dorchester Family Support, so that they can continue to help families have enough food to keep them going through the holiday half term. We are running a raffle which ends 30th September and many of our fabulous artisans has added a prize to the raffle for you to win. For just £1 a ticket, you could win one of the following items:
