The Life and Times of Eldridge Pope

‘The Life and Times of Eldridge Pope’ is the subject of a talk by Jeremy Pope, ex-Director and Chief Executive of Eldridge Pope and Co. Brewery at the August meeting of the Dorchester and District Gardening Club.

Mr Pope will tell stories of the Brewery’s fascinating history from its beginnings in 1833 to the development of the Brewery site next to the railway line, now the site of Brewery Square.

Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. There will be a bring and buy stall and a draw, with tea/coffee and biscuits available afterwards. All welcome.
