Two actors have taken the freshly minted ‘Worrisome Troubles of Timothy Potts’ to the stage, and cannot wait to perform it in all of its mediocrity. However, the actual playwright, who has until recently been incarcerated, will not let his ‘masterpiece’ be performed without his attendance and strict demands. He takes complete control of not just the show, but the entire audience! When he takes control of the show, he begins by leaving his weapon under the seat. As the show progresses, the two actors become increasingly desperate to escape, and the hostage taker slowly loses control as he maintains constant contact with the police through an unwired stage phone.
