Summer Fruit Trees Pruning Workshop

In this one day workshop we will go through all the different aspects of summer fruit tree care, from the correct tools to use and how to look after them, right through to the cuts themselves, with practical work on the trees that grow in the Kitchen Garden at Sculpture by the Lakes.
Our tutor for this workshop is John Cunningham.
Trained at The Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh, and a qualified designer, John specialises in pruning and garden development for private clients. He has planted over 60 Royal Horticultural Society and International Show gardens over the past 30 years and has judged for the RHS since 2013. He shares his knowledge with humour and passion.
You can bring your own secateurs if you would like but please ensure they are sharp and are clean and disinfected before you arrive.

Arrival is from 10am and the course starts at 10.30am. We break for lunch at 12pm and resume at 1pm finishing at 4pm.
