Scripts Under The Sun (Workshop)
A scriptwriting workshop led by Ed Viney, writer and Festival Director of The Script’s The Thing.
Using Helios as a source of inspiration, the workshop provides opportunity for scripting a scene that will then be rehearsed and performed by actors. Each writer will reflect on their own experience of visiting Helios to craft a short scene. Be it drama, comedy, suspense, mystery or a combination of everything, the workshop will help with character development, writing dialogue and how best to present your script for the performance.
Following the workshop on Saturday, writers will have a few days to write before submitting scripts later in the week for them to be rehearsed and performed on Thursday 2 April at 7.30pm. Please note you must attend the workshop to be eligible to submit a script.
