‘Heartstopper’ Screenings
Dorchester Youth Council are celebrating love, diversity, and community by hosting FREE weekly screenings of ‘Heartstopper’ all through July. They are thrilled to invite all young fans aged 12-18 to free screenings of the entire two seasons of the award-winning series at the historic Shire Hall Museum.
‘Heartstopper’ follows teens Charlie and Nick who discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series
Attendees will be treated to a variety of delicious snacks, including nachos, hotdogs, and popcorn. To ensure a comfortable and cozy viewing experience, we encourage everyone to bring a cushion.

Dorchester Youth Council are partnering with Shire Hall Museum and Space Youth Project as part of Dorset Youth Pride. On Saturday 13th July from 10am to 5pm, visitors to Dorset Youth Pride will have the opportunity to take part in a range of inclusive activities whilst exploring one of Dorchester’s most historic buildings. The free event will be wonderful day celebrating and sharing LGBTQ+ stories. Alongside stalls and activities around the museum, there will be talk exploring LGBTQ+ history, a panel discussion, music from Vinyl Van and a comedy performance from comedian Andrew White (in partnership with the Hardy Ha). Youth pride is an inclusive event welcoming all members of the LGBTQ+ community, families, young people, and allies.
