Get ready for some fermenting fun at a two-hour workshop to raise funds for the community play.
Generations have known that the secret to good health lies in our innards, and at this fascinating event you will learn how to improve your internal health and develop a bionic gut microbiome as well as find out more about the importance of pre-and pro-biotics.
You’ll also get to make some scrummy sauerkraut and cracking kombucha (a healthy fermented drink), with the raw ingredients being provided on the day.
The workshop, which is being kindly run by Nick and Nicola Heape, takes place on Saturday, November 26 in St George’s Church Hall, Dorchester DT1 1LB from 2.30-4.30pm. The cost is £20 and all profits will go to DCPA.
If you are interested, please bring a chopping board and sharp knife, a large colander and mixing bowl, a measuring jug suitable for boiling water, a plastic sieve and, if you have them, electronic weighing scales that can go back to zero before adding more ingredients. You may also wish to bring an apron.
?PLEASE NOTE: There are only 22 places so early booking is essential.?
How to book your place: email Nicola on email@example.com and say how many people are interested and we will confirm spaces and email you bank paying in details.
