Come and Sing – The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace

As our world once more tumbles towards conflict, join us on Saturday 17th October to come and sing one of the last century’s most celebrated works for peace – Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: a Mass for Peace.

Filling the stunning acoustics of St Mary’s Church, Dorchester will be a 30-piece orchestra to accompany a massed choir of singers from the town and further afield.

We will start rehearsing at 2pm. A vocal score will be provided.

You are encouraged to register in advance, with a reduced fee for those on low income and students. Register now to take part in this movement for peace.

If you do not wish to sing, come and listen to the informal performance of this moving work from 4.30-5.30pm. You don’t need a ticket to listen but please consider donating to St Mary’s Windows and Masonry Fund.
