Climate Emergency: People’s Emergency Briefing Community Screening

Please join us for a free community event at St George’s Church, of a showing of the National Emergency Briefing film on climate change and its effect on nature. This high-profile brief, held in Westminster in November 2025, informed an invited audience of over 1,200 leaders – including politicians, business executives, and the media – on issues our planet and communities are facing. Ten leading experts delivered clear-eyed assessments on our climate and nature, with a view to bringing hope of solutions to tackle these issues.

St George’s Church, in collaboration with the Dorchester Churches Ecology Group, is holding this screening and discussion to share ideas of what we are already doing in our community and local churches, but also to think about new possibilities going forward. We have invited members from the town council and from the local climate action groups for the discussions and to share their current projects.
