Designed especially for families, this engaging and hands-on experience invites you to explore areas of the Museum not usually open to the public. Meet the curatorial team who care for thousands of fascinating objects and learn how artefacts are stored, protected, and preserved for future generations.
Young visitors (and grown-ups!) will have the exciting opportunity to step into the role of a curator – investigating real Museum objects, learning how they are catalogued, and even handling selected items. Through fun activities and interactive demonstrations, you’ll uncover the stories behind the collections and gain a new appreciation for the work that happens behind the gallery doors.
Suitable for children aged 5 and above. Museum entry not included. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
