Art in the Sunflowers 2025

Art in Poundbury invites artists of all abilities and ages to join us for a day of creativity amidst the Sunflowers at Maiden Castle Farm on Saturday 23rd August 10am to 4pm. It does not matter if you, or your family, are regular outdoor/en plein air artists or not – painting and sketching outside is a wonderful way to spend a few hours in a unique location.

Working together with The Dorset Sunflower trail at Maiden Castle  all profit made at this event will be donated to Dorchester County Hospital Emergency Critical Care Appeal so this event is a winning combination of both creativity and community.

There will be five competition categories – with generous cash prizes for the Experienced and Enthusiasts categories and vouchers for three ’17 and Under’ Categories.

The registration fee of £10 for 18+  includes entrance to the Sunflower Trail as well as entry into the Art in the Sunflowers painting competition.For 17 and Under the fee for trail and Art competition is £5 only (the painting competition is free).
