Dorchester has a great mix of independent and national favourites that mean it is a fantastic place to shop for gifts, essentials, clothes and local food and drink.

There are three main shopping areas in the town.

Brewery Square is the site of the old Eldridge Pope Brewery and is now a lively shopping quarter with favourites such a Joules and independent shops like Belle Modelle and The Copper Street Micro Brewery.

In Poundbury there are several smaller shopping squares dotted around which are home to anything and everything from toy shops, ladies fashion and wine merchants.

Dorchester town centre has a main pedestrianised shopping street that has a number of great little arcades too for florist, butchers and favourites such as Neals Yard Cosmetics.
