The only museum on mainland Britain dedicated to dinosaurs, the award-winning Dinosaur Museum is a treat, especially for children.
The museum combines life-sized reconstructions of dinosaurs with fossils and skeletons to create an exciting hands-on experience. Multimedia displays tell the story of the prehistoric animals and their enthralling world millions of years ago. Life-size dinosaur reconstructions – including Tyrannosaurus rex, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops – beg to be touched by little hands – that’s encouraged.

The Great Dinosaur Easter Egg Hunt, a hunt with a difference, is being held at The Dinosaur Museum over Easter
This egg-citing event starts on Wednesday 16th April and runs through Easter
The "monster" egg hunt encourages children to hunt throughout the museum to spot the real dinosaur eggs (one the size of a melon) and those on the displays, solve the clues and win a dinosaur prize!
