Dorchester Arts is the year-round provider of arts performances and entertainment in Dorset’s County Town. Most of the performances take place in our home venue, Dorchester Corn Exchange, but we also programme events in Maumbury Rings, Dorset County Museum, Duke’s Auctioneers and churches around the town.
The programme features everything from popular comedians to contemporary classical music, via theatre, folk, jazz, dance, family entertainment and visual arts. We host Dorchester Youth Theatre and Pop Club and offer various participation opportunities for adults.
In short, we do all this because we believe that where the arts thrive people and places do too.
