The Dorchester Ambassadors are approachable, enthusiastic, visible supporters of Dorchester, it’s history and businesses and who love to promote and support Dorchester Town, actively seeking out visitors who may need our help.
You will find us circulating in Dorchester town centre during the school holidays on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 0930 and 1400. In school term time we are in Dorchester on most Wednesdays and Saturdays. We also support other occasions where there are events taking place.
You will be able to recognise us by our red uniforms(see photograph) and our holdalls marked “Dorchester Ambassador” in which we carry information to support your visit to Dorchester, including information about Dorchester’s car parking voucher, money back scheme.

We love chatting to both our visitors and local residents and may well be able to help with directions and information where you least expect!
