Ann and Anthony Buckton established Copper Street Brewery in Dorchester in 2018 bringing brewing back to Dorset’s historic county town. As the new owners of Copper Street Brewery, Alistair and Tina Burrell we are continuing the legacy that Ann and Anthony Created. We look forward to moving the business on, whilst continuing to create all the brews that you all love and eventually introduce some new recipes

​We are passionate about brewing high quality ales, incorporating an exciting mix of traditional and modern styles! Our roots go back to the days of brewing the legendary 871 ale from our garage in the shadow of King Alfred’s tower. Nine years later, we are now producing over 13 beers from our centrally located brewery, shop and tap-room in Brewery Square, Dorchester.

As well as an on-site tap-room, we provide casks and bottles to many local pubs, restaurants and shops. In addition, we also have our own bottle shop on site where we stock our own beer as well as a carefully-selected choice of ales from other great breweries. You’re sure to find an excellent range of ales, whatever your taste.

All our beers are brewed and bottled on site and can arrive to you in the form of casks, pins, 18-pint polypins, 4-pint growlers and bottles. We now produce over 11 distinct and exciting beer styles and are always looking to develop new ones.
