Capelli of Poundbury was opened in 2006 by local girl Jacqui Cheke. Jacqui started her hairdressing career 40 years ago and prior to opening Capelli was teaching hairdressing at the local college.

Following 7 years teaching, Jacqui decided it was time to open her own salon and felt that Poundbury would be a perfect location for the style of salon she had a vision for. She wanted to create a beautiful and relaxing environment for clients to come and experience, as well as receiving a first class service from a team of talented stylists.

Now in the Buttermarket, Capelli of Poundbury has gone from strength to strength and has an extremely talented team of stylists who are passionate about providing to best possible services to their clients and customer care is second to none.

Alongside our full range of hairdressing services, Capelli offers the supply, fitting and cutting of quality wigs with a private consultation area to be able to provide a very discrete service.

Another benefit of Capelli being located in Poundbury is, as well as such beautiful and unique surroundings, there is plenty of free parking right outside the salon.
