Every summer in Dorchester the town comes alive with the sound of music echoing through its parks, streets, squares and gardens. From the vibrant rhythms of the Dorset One World Festival on August 9th to tribute acts in Brewery Square and local musicians in Borough Gardens, Dorchester offers a rich tapestry of free outdoor music events. Summer Sessions in Borough Gardens
A series of free music sessions throughout July and August in Dorchester’s beautiful Borough Gardens. These events are organised by Dorchester Town Council.
Music at the Pavilion
Local musicians and singers performing outside PiPs cafe on the Great Field in Poundbury throughout the summer, usually at lunchtimes. This FREE music event is for the whole community to enjoy! Bring a picnic or grab a takeaway from the cafe and enjoy some music from talented local individuals and groups.

Amazing Tributes in Brewery Square
Join us for a spectacular musical extravaganza at Brewery Square in Dorchester! Introducing “Music In the Square,” a series of captivating live performances that will leave you humming and dancing all summer long.
