Dorchester Food Fortnight – celebrating local produce
British Food Fortnight 2023 takes place 16th September to 1st October 2023 and is a national celebration of the diverse and delicious food that Britain produces. The county of Dorset and the South West of England are full of wonderful food and drink producers and a selection of Dorchester restaurants and businesses are celebrating them this food fortnight with Discover Dorchester and Dorset Food and Drink.

Joey's Family Foods
Joey’s is a wonderful family run business in the centre of Dorchester run for families that loves to use local produce and create nutritious and delicious meals to enjoy at home, school or even on holiday! All their meals are freshly cooked in-house and are blast-frozen before shipment or pick up in store. They only use meat & fish that meet high animal welfare standards and support local producers where possible.

Hubbox
Hubbox Dorchester in Brewery Square is part of a vibrant restaurant chain that started out in Cornwall. Supporting Cornish produce is a big thing for Hubbox. The beef in their burgers comes from Launceton, Chicken from Radstock and potatoes from Lanlivery. We love to see this and enjoy tasting it too! Make sure you visit this Food Fortnight.
Dorset produce
Dorset Food and Drink are huge supporters of local produce. And we have a lot of it in and around Dorchester! The delicious Fordington Gin is definitely worth a try and can be found in most of the bars and pubs across town. Copper Street Brewery is a micro brewery based in Brewery Square and they have come wonderful ales to try. And we also have our very own chocolate factory in Dorchester! House of Dorchester makes a range of scrumptious chocolate products for some of the UK’s leading hotels, restaurants, shops and venues and are now enjoyed around the world.
